Lazy Snowy Saturdays...

So thats a picture looking out my window on my front door....ahh...the snowy streets of the "D". Its not too cold out...just the DAMN snow! Its kinda funny, because this season comes every year...and folks still complain like Michigan just started getting snow this year. Born and raised here, don't really understand folks. News flash....its Michigan....SNOW HAPPPENS!!

But what i do complain about it the freakin (not the word i wanted to use) energy bills. Now, i live alone..love it! And I'm not a person needing to be extra warm. In fact, my heat don't go past 70 degrees unless folks over . I'm always accused of being stingy with heat, lol...but i try to accommodate my company. But after 2 straight months of $200 energy bills....nukkas better be bringing blankets over here!!

But i do love Saturdays . Normally I'm doing a whole bunch of nothing. But I'm getting new coffee and end tables for my crib today!!! super geeked! I've lived in my place for about 3 or years and its just been "the crib". But I'm trying to make the crib a home. I'm renting, so its like i don't know how long I'll be here, so we'll see.

Da Blogs.....

So as some of you may know....or have seen, I'm new to this whole "blog" thing. I tend to read more than i write..and boy...its some interesting folk out here!!. I mean..from poems, to lively pictures...political views, it gets deep. And then i see the ones about just everyday life, which i think i enjoy most. Its giving me an opportunity to vent mostly, which i can really appreciate. Brotha be needing to vent!!

Im not a big writer at all, but its really pushing me to go to parts of my brain i rarely use...the part that normally abbreviates things...hmm......doesn't sound right, lol. Well, for example...if i had to describe my writing...as far as getting to the point...i would be a helicopter. just take right off...none of that riding in circles mess...just up up and away. Most folks are like big ass jets...using all the runway available to get a story of the ground. But , i can say that i appreciate them folks...gives me something to read . I'm trying folks...trying. So keep me on your visiting list....hell, subscribe! lol, you don't have to....well, maybe so...its up to you .

Random stuff....

HAPPY MLK DAY TO ALL!!!!

Now with that said...here goes. Wasn't really in the mood to blog today, but waiting for my car to heat up since its 5 degrees out ...so had a couple of random things to yap about for the moment.

-So watching the playoff games yesterday at the bar...glad the Giants won...had a cool bet on that game. Was this chick at the bar. Just so so so so animated. Kinda reminded me of the black Jessica the Rabbit. Kept making this funny facial expressions..like she was looking in the mirror or something. Was SUPER funny. Was acting like a hood super model or something. Kept referencing to the wine she was drinking as "white ziff"...stomach was super tight laughing at her!!! Made my day (other than the Giants winning)!!!

-Rented a couple movies last night . Wild Hogs (fell asleep early in the movie...dont know about this one...Martin better make it funny !) . Also got Disturbia and Illegal Tender. Hoping that those are good ones.


-"Why do I need I.D. to get I.D......if i had I.D...i wouldn't need I.D". Now, that was really random, But was a crazy verse from Mos Def on Common's "Like water for chocolate" album..classic!!


-Back to Martin....why he gotta be named Roscoe in his new Movie...


I know this was super random, but that was the title of the blog. Car is...well, i hope warm now, so im out.

Mind yours...Cuz im Minding Mines

Happy New Year Folks!!!

Hate to start off the year complaining....but i will. If you looked up hater in the dictionary, you'd see a co-worker of mines. A real low life dude. I mean, NO people skills at all. Had a small confrontation with the guy a couple weeks ago...went to the bosses on me!!! My first thoughts was to chop him in the neck....but would of been counterproductive to me having a job and all. The whole thing got squashed, but i don't have 2 shits to say to the guy. Just nuts how folks try to play hall monitor that don't have any say over nothing...hell, we got hired at the same time. Peer to peer management aint happening here!! I just wanna come to work, bust out my projects, and go home..thats it. I dont worry about others work schedule, when they take lunch ( which this mutha***** was asking folks when i take lunch...wtf?!!!) ...none of that . I just worry about Jackie's oldest boy (that'd be me). So just hoping the work atmosphere gets better. Anyhow, until the next one....
